This June, The Effect brings that question to life on a Hollywood stage. Written by award-winning playwright Lucy Prebble , the play follows two clinical trial participants, Tristan and Connie, who find themselves falling in love during a drug study who then must reckon with whether their connection is real or simply a side effect.

The Effect runs June 12-14 at Thymele Arts, 5481 Santa Monica Blvd, Hollywood. Evening performances begin at 7pm, with a Sunday matinee at 3pm. The production is directed by Braden Lynch and Tristan McDaniel, and stars Tristan McDaniel, Harriet Bridgwater, Ansley Hutchinson, and Braden Lynch.
