Tragedy Strikes Goose Concert at MSG: Man Falls to Death
A man died after falling during the second of two Goose concerts at New York City's Madison Square Garden.
An attendee fell to his death at a Goose concert Saturday night at Madison Square Garden, according to reports.
The 51-year-old concert goer fell from an upper level seating area at the New York arena before being taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead news organizations reported from New York Police Department statements.
Goose released a statement shortly after the concert saying, “We are deeply saddened and heartbroken to learn of the tragic event that occurred at tonight’s show. We extend our deepest sympathy to everyone affected.
“Thank you to the emergency personnel and venue staff who stepped in with care and support.”
Goose are currently on tour and were performing their second concert of a two-night stand at Madison Square Garden when the incident happened.
