A new trailer has arrived for THE ENORMOUS CROCODILE, the family musical adapted from Roald Dahl 's beloved picture book, offering audiences their first sustained look at the production ahead of its summer engagement at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre in London. The footage builds anticipation for what promises to be one of the season's most eagerly awaited family outings.

The musical brings to life Dahl's gloriously villainous title character — a scheming, self-satisfied reptile who hatches elaborate disguises and cunning plots in pursuit of a meal of children. The story pits the crocodile against a coalition of jungle animals who must summon their courage to outwit him before he can carry out his grumptious plans, translating Dahl's darkly comic sensibility into a theatrical experience designed to delight young audiences and their families alike.

The production arrives at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre for a four-week summer run as part of a wider UK tour continuing through 22 August 2026. Chelsea Da Silva leads the company in the title role, with Precious Abimbola as Trunky the Elephant and Jordan Eskeisa among the ensemble of jungle creatures standing between the crocodile and his dinner.
