Barrington Stage Company has released rehearsal footage of DRIVING MISS DAISY, Alfred Uhry 's beloved Pulitzer Prize-winning play, now running through June 21 in Pittsfield before transferring to Williamstown June 26 through July 5, in collaboration with Palm Beach Dramaworks.

Directed by Julianne Boyd , the production stars Debra Jo Rupp and Ray Anthony Thomas as Daisy, a Jewish widow in 1948 Georgia, and Hoke, her Black chauffeur, whose unexpected 25-year relationship built on mutual respect, understanding, and affection bridges the societal divides of their time.

Special events include a Deeper Look discussion on June 7 at 11 a.m. and an Aftershow on June 11. Pittsfield opening night is Saturday, May 30, with Williamstown opening night on Friday, June 26.
