14 New Tracks Released Today
DJ Koze, Icona Pop, The Darkness, Absolute Lilt, Lola Young, Big Freedia & SOPHIE, Brandi Carlile, and Duran Duran are among the artists with new songs out today.

So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out . We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
DJ KOZE – “SPIRALEN”

BRANDI CARLILE – “LIFE ON THE RUN”
Brandi Carlile has launched a new partnership with the National Park Foundation with her new single, which she wrote with Aaron Desnner and produced with Dessner and Andrew Watt. “Our national parks are the heart and soul of our nation,” she says. “Even in our darkest days when we need a North Star, we need to look no further than the Olympic Peninsula, Yosemite, or the Canyonlands. The Gemini energy that pulls me back to the wild time and time again is something I’ve learned to embrace with music, and honestly every part of who I am. I’m not the only one. The wilderness calls on us all to return to ourselves, and the National Park Foundation reminds us that we have a shared duty to protect these sacred spaces. We all come from the lost and found…to the great unknown.”

THE DARKNESS – “MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE”

ABSOLUTE LILT – “P STANDS FOR PADDY”
Irish duo Absolute Lilt — Lisa Canny and Niamh Hinchy — have signed to Heavenly Recordings and released their first single for label. “P Stands for Paddy” mixes traditional Irish music with modern R&B. They say of the song and video: “Lilting is nonsense, quite literally. For the music video we wanted to capture the essence of Irish nonsense at its best so we created ‘The Fairest Man’ concept, inspired by Ireland’s love for a kitch & very-country pageant. Think Father Ted in 2026! Our director Olivia Mcloughin knew exactly how to bring the idea to screen and absolutely smashed it! And as for the all star cast, they had us rolling around laughing from the second the filming started. We hope everyone loves it as much as we do!” The song is on their Criostal EP that’s out July 31.

LOLA YOUNG – “FROM DOWN HERE”
Lola Young is back with her first new music since her 2025 album I’m Only F**king Myself . “From Down Here” was created with James Blake, and she says, “The day after the GRAMMYs, I had a wave of inspiration hit me, so I got in the studio with the incredible James Blake and made this song. I am rewriting the next chapter of my story because what a boring book the old one would’ve been anyway.”

Physical music for inner worlds. Music that feels like a sonic force field. Ruin lives in that moment where everything breaks and something else asserts itself. It’s music for the shock and the aftershock. This is not ambient. 174bpm.”
