8 New Songs Released Today Include Zach Bryan, Lykke Li (Mura Masa Remix)

So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out . Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.

LYKKE LI – “SICK OF LOVE (MURA MASA REMIX)”

Mura Masa has taken Lykke Li’s arm-waving anthem “Sick Of Love” and turned it into a club banger.

CARLY SIMON – “HOWL”

Carly Simon has announced her first new album in 18 years, Comes in Waves, which will be out August 14 and this is the first single. “‘Howl’ lives in that space between betrayal and forgiveness, where anger has to be voiced before it can be released,” Simon shares. “It’s about letting the frustration out so it doesn’t sit and simmer. The song begins in anger, but it moves toward forgiveness, and speaks to any situation where trust has been broken.”

DJ KOZE – “WO’S PATRIC?!?”

DJ Koze released a new 12″ today. You may have already heard “Spiralen” and now here’s the flip side.

THE ALBUM LEAF & NICOLE MIGLIS – “TURNS”

The Album Leaf will release their ninth studio album, A Body of Voices , on October 2 via Nettwerk. This first single features Nicole Miglis of Hundred Waters.

FOUSHEÉ – “DRIVE”

Jamaican-American singer-songwriter Fousheé is back with this folk-pop number. She says it’s a “road song…the reoccurring pull, drifting through life with the person you want to experience everything with, semisweet transience.”

REBECCA BLACK – “SPEAKERPHONE”

“This is the opening of the gates,” says Rebecca Black, announcing her new single “Speakerphone.” Fun video.

ZACH BRYAN – “BREAKFAST IN BED”

Country star Zach Bryan just dropped this new song on YouTube and it’s currently not available anywhere else. He’s currently on tour in the UK.

THE FALL – “30 DEGREES”

The Fall had been working on a new album when Mark E Smith died in 2018 which is now finally coming out as Post Script . This is the first single.
