The project marks Crystal’s first Broadway appearance since 2022’s Mr. Saturday Night , the musical adaptation of his 1992 film of the same name. Long before that, he made his Broadway debut with the acclaimed one-man show 700 Sundays in 2004, earning a Tony Award and setting a then-record as Broadway’s highest-grossing non-musical.
Crystal’s career spans nearly five decades across film, television, stand-up comedy, and theater. He is best known for starring roles in films including When Harry Met Sally… , City Slickers , the Monsters, Inc. franchise, and The Princess Bride , as well as his nine turns hosting the Academy Awards between 1990 and 2012.
