Bruce Springsteen Roasts Trump, Performs on Colbert's Penultimate 'Late Show'
Bruce Springsteen supported Stephen Colbert on his next-to-last "Late Show," stating, "You're the first guy in America who lost his show because we've got a president who can't take a joke."

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert comes to an end tonight and there’s no word on who the guests might be, or if there will be any guests at all. For his penultimate episode on Wednesday, though, Colbert had LOTS of guests. He moved to the guest chair for an extended version of the “Colbert Questionert” segment, where he was quizzed by Billy Crystal, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Josh Brolin, Martha Stewart, Mark Hamill, Jim Gaffigan, Jeff Daniels, Tiffany Haddish , his wife Evie McGee Colbert, Amy Sedaris, Ben Stiller, Aubrey Plaza, James Taylor, Robert De Niro and John Dickerson .
Then the episode ended with musical guest Bruce Springsteen , who performed his recent protest song “Streets of Minneapolis” solo.
“I am here in support tonight for Stephen because you’re the first guy in America who lost his show because we’ve got a president who can’t take a joke,” Springsteen said, introing the song. “And because Larry and David Ellison feel they need to kiss his ass to get what they want. Stephen, these are small-minded people who got no idea what the freedoms of this beautiful country are supposed to be about. This is for you.”
Watch that and the “Colbert Questionert” segments below. We’ll miss ya, Stephen!
Springsteen recently wrapped up his three-show NYC run as part of his “NO KINGS” Land Of Hope And Dreams American Tour .
