PinkPantheress, Peso Pluma, and More Headline Adidas World Cup Pop-Ups in NYC and LA

The official Halftime Show at MetLife Stadium featuring Madonna, Shakira, and BTS isn’t the only live music happening around the World Cup. Adidas is hosting Home of Soccer popups in NYC, Los Angeles, Toronto, Atlanta, and Houston, with watch parties, tournaments, pickup games, product drops, and in two cities, performances.

The NYC event happens at Brooklyn Bride Park from June 13-July 19 , and will be open from 12pm-10pm daily. PinkPantheress and Larry June are both slated to perform, although specific dates haven’t been given yet.

The Los Angeles event happens at BMO Stadium on June 11 , and Peso Pluma and Noodle (DJ set) will both be on hand for it.

Meanwhile, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced that 1,000 tickets to World Cup final matches priced at $50, a big discount, would be made available to NYC residents by ballot. Round-trip bus travel will be included with the $50. New York Times reports that no tickets for the final on July 19 will be available at this price, but they’ll be spread evenly across other MetLife Stadium games. They’ll be located in the upper tier of the stadium.

“A World Cup is coming to our backyard, and we want to ensure working-class New Yorkers have the opportunity to be part of it,” a statement from Mamdani reads. “We sat down with the host committee to make certain this tournament belongs to the people who make this city what it is. Today, 1,000 New Yorkers are going to get into those stands for $50 and a free bus ride. I’m proud that New York City is leading the way.” The lottery opens at Monday, May 25 at 10 AM and New Yorkers can enter once per day.
