Charli XCX Schedules "Music, Fashion, Film Tour" in North American Cities

The “BRAT” era may appear to be over for Charli xcx with a new album set to drop July 24, the British pop star has announced a tour of select U.S. cities to go along with previously announced festival appearances.

Promoted by Live Nation, the “Music, Fashion, Film Tour” will see Charli headline venues across North America in September through October, with two nights at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, State Farm Arena in Atlanta and more. Fans wanting to take part in the artist presale need to sign up by Wednesday, June 10. Remaining tickets will become available during general onsale on Friday, June 12.

Charli xcx’s new album, Music, Fashion, Film , is set for release July 24 and includes new tracks “SS26” and “Rock Music.” Artwork, shot by Aidan Zamiri, features John Cale, Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese.

For the tour, Charli is introducing “Angel Tickets,” a limited number of $20 tickets to be made available in August. Once the purchase window for these tickets opens in August, tickets must be purchased in pairs, with a maximum of two per order, according to the announcement.

Seats will be assigned together, with locations revealed on the day of show at venue box office pickup. Ticket locations may include limited view, lower and upper levels, as well as GA Floor. Taxes and fees will be on top of the $20 price and tickets are non-transferrable. More details are to be announced.

A limited number of charity tickets will also be available in the first five rows of each venue, with 50% of the net proceeds from these tickets going to Transgender Law Center, according to the announcement, with the goal to help the organization’s mission of ensuring the right of all transgender people to make their own choices and live freely, safely and authentically.

The dates add to previously announced festival appearances including Lollapalooza Chicago, Outside Lands in San Francisco and Reading and Leeds Festivals in England.

The tour follows up the smash success of Charli’s infectious BRAT album, which led to the “Sweat” tour featuring Troye Sivan. The tour grossed an average $1.3 million and sold 13,532 tickets per show over 21 dates, as reported to Pollstar.
