Seattle indie rockers Chastity Belt, whose 2024 album Live Laugh Love was an Album Of The Week, have unveiled two new songs, "I Could Say Less" and "Pavement," following previous releases including a 764-Hero cover.

Now, they're back with two new songs, "I Could Say Less" and "Pavement," the latter of which has nothing to do with Stephen Malkmus. Both tracks are about disillusionment, weighed down by gloomy guitars and resigned vocals. "I Could Say Less" starts with the question, "Why is everything so embarrassing?" "Pavement," though, ends with hope: "Waking up with a little less dopamine/ Well it can be a good thing." Listen below.
