Some events carry restrictions: minimum age, ID matching the buyer's name, bag rules, or limits on how many tickets one person can buy. These are set by the venue or organiser for that specific event. Check the event's own notes and the venue's published rules before you travel.

Are these tickets together?

For reserved seating, tickets listed in the same option are normally in the same section and row, but whether they are strictly side by side depends on what the seller states for that option. I will only tell you that seats are together when the ticketing provider says so for that specific option. If that information is not supplied, confirm it on the checkout page before you order.

Can I get a refund?

I cannot confirm a refund or cancellation outcome. Those terms belong to the seller and the checkout you complete the order on, and they differ by event. As a general pattern in live events: resale orders are usually final once placed, and cancelled events are normally handled differently from postponed ones. Read the terms on the checkout page before you pay, and contact the seller named in your confirmation for anything after the order.

Three things settle it quickly: how many tickets you need, the most you want to spend per ticket all-in, and whether being close matters more than paying less. Tell me the event and those preferences and I will narrow the options down. Where a seat is not described by the seller, I will say so rather than fill in the gap.

How do I get my tickets?

Most tickets today are mobile or electronic: they arrive by email or through a ticket app, and you present them on your phone at the gate. Some options are delivered closer to the event date rather than immediately, and a few events use specific apps or transfer methods only. The delivery method for your order is stated on the option you choose and again in your confirmation. I will not promise a delivery method that has not been supplied.

A confirmation email with an order reference is sent by the seller once payment is accepted. Keep it: it is what you use for any question about the order. If a confirmation has not arrived, check the spam folder first, then contact the seller named on the checkout page - they hold the order, we do not.

OriginalTickets helps you find an event and compare the ticket options available for it. We are an independent resale affiliate, not a box office. When you pick an option, you continue to our ticketing provider's secure checkout to finish the order. That is where the final ticket details, the total price and any applicable fees are confirmed. You never enter payment details here in the Concierge. I can help you narrow down the event, the date and the kind of seat you want before you get to checkout.

How does ticket quantity work?

Ticket options are sold in set quantities. Some allow any number, others only pairs, and some will not let you leave a single ticket behind on its own. Choose how many tickets you need first: the options you can actually buy change based on that number.

How to search for an event

The events page searches every upcoming event record we hold. Type a performer, team, show, venue or city, and narrow the results with the category, city, date and sort controls. Each control is a real link, so any search you run can be bookmarked or shared and it will load the same results for someone else. If a search comes back empty, nothing is filled in to cover the gap: we tell you it is empty and suggest cities where we do hold events. We never show an event we do not have a record for. Every result links to that event's own page on OriginalTickets. We do not send you to invented links.

Is OriginalTickets a box office?

OriginalTickets is an independent resale affiliate. We are not a box office, not a venue, and not affiliated with any team, artist, or production. Prices on a resale marketplace can be above or below the original face value of a ticket. We help you find the right event and understand the options. The order itself is completed at checkout, where the final details and total are confirmed.

What “sample” on an event means

While we build out our catalogue, some event, venue and performer records are development sample data. Every one of them is labelled “sample” wherever it appears. Sample records are not real listings. They cannot be purchased, their prices are not offers, and pages that show them are excluded from search engines. If you see a sample label, treat everything on that record as a placeholder. Real records are never labelled that way.

What do section, row and seat numbers mean?

A section is the block of the venue you are in - lower level, upper level, floor, orchestra, mezzanine and so on. Lower numbers are usually closer to the action, but every venue names its sections differently. A row is your position inside that section, and the seat number is your specific chair within the row. Some options hide the exact row or seat until after purchase. When that detail is not given, I will not guess at it.

What does general admission mean?

General admission (GA) means there is no assigned seat. You enter the GA area and stand or sit wherever there is space, so arriving earlier usually means a better spot. Reserved seating means a specific section, row and seat is yours for the event, and it does not matter what time you arrive.

What happens after I click Buy?

You are taken to the ticketing provider's secure checkout where you review the exact tickets, the total and the fees, then enter your details and pay. After the order is placed you get a confirmation from the seller with your order reference and how your tickets will reach you.

What the all-in price includes

Prices on OriginalTickets are shown as an all-in figure: the ticket plus the fees that apply to it. We do not show a lower headline number and add fees later. A price is only ever displayed attached to a specific event record, inside a link to that event's own page. We do not show example or illustrative prices anywhere. Delivery charges, where a delivery method carries one, are confirmed at checkout. If we cannot stand behind how current a price is, we say “check current pricing” instead of showing a stale figure.

What the Concierge can and cannot do

The Concierge is a rule-based assistant, not an AI model. It reads what you type, matches it against our own catalogue of cities, venues, performers, categories and dates, and runs the same search the events page runs. It can find events, narrow them by city, date, category or budget, and explain how buying tickets works in plain English. It cannot quote live availability, seat-by-seat inventory, a seller's specific policy, or a final total. Those are confirmed at checkout, and we say so rather than guessing. It will never ask you for card details or a password. If anything in a chat window asks you for those, close it. If it cannot understand a question, it says so and offers what it can actually do. It does not invent an answer.

Where do I pay?

Payment happens on the ticketing provider's secure checkout, not on OriginalTickets and never inside this Concierge. Never type a card number, CVV or password into this chat. I do not collect payment information and I never need it.

Why can the price change at checkout?

Accepted Answer

Prices shown on OriginalTickets are all-in totals per ticket: they include the mandatory fees we know about at the time we display them. Delivery charges and any provider-specific charges are confirmed at the ticketing provider's secure checkout. Always read the order summary there before you pay - that page is authoritative, not this one. Resale prices move with demand, so a price can change between the time you see it and the time you check out.

Will there be additional fees?

Possibly. Ticket purchases commonly carry a service or fulfilment charge, and some events add a delivery charge or a venue charge. Where we display an all-in price, mandatory fees are already included in the number you see. I cannot state the exact fee schedule for an order, because that is set by the ticketing provider handling the checkout. The order summary before payment shows the complete breakdown.
