Native Son will celebrate a decade of impact and community at its 10th Anniversary Native Son Awards on June 19, 2026, in New York City, honoring four leaders in entertainment and culture while marking the organization's continued commitment to uplifting and supporting Black gay and queer men.

Held under the theme "Our Love, Our Voice, Our Story, Our Future, Our Now," the annual event will recognize singer-songwriter Durand Bernarr, filmmaker and television director Anthony Hemingway , actor Tramell Tillman , and entrepreneur Guy Anthony as the 2026 Native Son Honorees.

The event will be hosted by Dashaun Wesley, and will feature performances by Bren Joy and Dyllón Burnside. Following the ceremony, Broadway's Cats: The Jellicle Ball will host the official afterparty. Presenters will include Cynthia Erivo , Tamron Hall , and Chaise Dennis.

The awards ceremony will bring together artists, business leaders, advocates, and supporters for an evening of recognition and fellowship. Guests attending the event will have access to a pre-reception and seated dinner as part of the awards celebration, while VIP attendees will also receive premium seating, afterparty access, a commemorative gift bag, and additional event perks. Following the ceremony, Native Son will host its official afterparty, offering guests an opportunity to continue the celebration with music, hospitality, and networking opportunities.
