The companies announced on Tuesday (June 10) that RARE Entity , the venture group co-founded by Eurythmics musician Dave Stewart , will become an active partner and shareholder in Lounges.tv .

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to the companies, the partnership will focus on expanding access to live entertainment through premium livestreaming, direct-to-fan fan engagement, and monetization tools designed to help artists generate revenue from live and on-demand content.

Lounges.tv lets artists, creators, and rightsholders monetize live and on-demand content through pay-per-view streaming, tipping, subscriptions, and fan engagement.

The company says the platform gives creators 80%  of their streaming income and delivers payouts within  24 hours , which it says marks a departure from traditional streaming and advertising-led models.

“Live music and live experiences have become inaccessible for too many people,” said  Dave Stewart , Co-Founder of  RARE Entity .

“Ticket prices continue to rise, venues sell out instantly, and incredible fans around the world are excluded from moments they care deeply about,”  Stewart  added.

“What excites us about  Lounges.tv is that it expands access without compromising the experience. Artists can reach global audiences directly, create new revenue streams, and retain more control over their work and their communities.”

He added: “At RARE , we believe creators should own more of the value they generate – and this partnership is another step toward building a fairer and more sustainable ecosystem for artists and fans alike.”

Lounges.tv Co-Founder and CEO Scott Green added: “Live streaming is no longer just a broadcast tool – it’s a way to responsibly expand access to live experiences at a time when demand massively outweighs venue capacity.

“Through this partnership with RARE Entity, we’re creating new ways for artists to connect with audiences globally while giving creators faster payments, stronger ownership models, and more meaningful fan relationships.

“Fans shouldn’t be priced out of culture, and artists shouldn’t have to wait months to be paid.”

Cowell , an existing backer of the platform, described  Lounges.tv  as “giving talent another new type of platform to promote themselves” and pointed to the importance of “creating as many opportunities as possible for talent to be discovered and to build their own fan bases.”

Cowell   bought a stake in Lounges.tv in 2023 , as previously reported by  MBW .

That round valued the London-based business at  £20 million  ($24 million), according to a report in  The Times .

The platform was founded in  2020  by  Scott Green  and counts  BBC  iPlayer creator  Ben Lavender  and  Prince ‘s former manager  Kiran Sharma  among its other backers.

Lounges.tv  says it works with talent across music, entertainment, comedy, fitness, podcasting, and digital culture, and has drawn support from figures including  Nile Rodgers  and  Professor Green .

RARE Entity  was  launched in January 2026  by  Stewart  alongside entrepreneurs  Dominic Joseph , the former CEO and co-founder of  Captify , and  Rich Britton , a former  Coca-Cola ,  Apple ,  and  Soho House  executive.

RARE Entity  says it builds companies that combine creativity with operational execution while helping creators retain ownership, audience connection, and commercial value.

Stewart  co-founded  Eurythmics  with  Annie Lennox , and the duo’s catalog is estimated to have sold more than  100 million  albums.

He  sold his songwriting catalog to Hipgnosis Songs Fund  in 2019, a body of work comprising  1,068  songs.

RARE Entity  and  Lounges.tv  say the partnership will explore new creator-led formats and premium live experiences across music, entertainment, and culture. Music Business Worldwide
