Deep Data Cuts Reveals Top 10 New Concert Headliners by 2026 Ticket Sales

For the second consecutive year as part of the NextGen focus, the monthly Deep Data Cuts feature highlights the top 10 concert headliners with box-office totals reported for the first time in their careers. And, along with this year’s slate of artists, ranked by ticket sales from Nov. 13, 2025 through May 13, 2026, we also present a list of those who earned the same distinction for the entire year, from 2022 through 2025.

While about half of this year’s ranked artists are under 30 years of age and part of Generation Z, as might be expected among performers with first-time box office reporting, most of the others are only a few years older in the Millennials category. Only one artist, French musician Matthieu Chedid with the group Lamomali, is part of the Gen X group, and 16-year-old English singer Freya Skye is on the younger side of Gen Z and is borderline Gen Alpha.

For the first time in the past five years, the ranked artists come from four different continents, but none from North America. Asia is home to four of them, and four more hail from European countries, while Africa is represented by musicians from Mali. South America is featured most prominently, as bands from two countries on the continent score the top two rankings.

Featured at No. 1 is Argentina’s K4OS with ticket sales from 18 concerts during the eligibility timeframe, the most of any act on the chart. The all-female pop group, all younger than 21 years old, performed for 57,384 fans at three venues, including Teatro Gran Rex in Buenos Aires, where they launched their “4EVER Tour.” Ticket sales totaled 47,593 at 15 shows with 11 occurring during February and an additional four in March.

Brazil is the home country of the No. 2-ranked act on the chart, a supergroup consisting of João Gomes, Mestrinho and Jota.pê. The three artists collaborated to record the Latin Grammy-winning album Dominguinho in 2025, followed by a world tour booked into 2027. Five of their shows occurred in the first half of 2026, including a stadium event at Allianz Parque (now called NuBank Parque) in São Paulo that drew 46,875 fans for one concert. The ticket total for all five performances was 50,779.

Ranked third is another musical collective, Lamomali, led by Chedid along with Malian artists Fatoumata Diawara, Sidiki Diabaté and Mamadou Sidiki Diabaté. With a blend of World and African music and pop and rock, the group first recorded in 2017. However, three arena concerts in France last December brought them to the Pollstar charts for the first time. Together, the shows moved 40,143 tickets.

Four headliners, ranked at Nos. 4, 5, 6 and 10, are all from Japan, and they each earned their spot on the chart based on two-show engagements at K-Arena Yokohama. Kana Nishino, No. 4, sold 38,100 tickets for Christmas-themed concerts Dec. 17-18, and rock band Super Beaver is No. 5 with 38,000 tickets sold on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 during their 20th anniversary tour. Then, boy band Naniwa Danshi is sixth with a ticket total of 37,902 from shows, April 7-8, while Yuuri ranks No. 10 with a ticket total of 26,000, Dec. 20-21.

The No. 7 position belongs to another supergroup, Hijos de la Ruina, a trio of Spanish rap and urban music artists from Madrid: the duo Natos y Waor along with Recycled J. They have recorded four albums together, including a Vol. 4 project this year, prompting their current tour. The trio hit the charts for the first time with two March shows at Madrid’s Movistar Arena attended by 30,145 fans. However, both Natos y Waor and Recycled J have charted in the past with solo dates.

Skye takes No. 8 with a ticket count of 28,496 from five shows in U.S. cities in February and four in England in March, part of her debut headlining tour named “Stars Align.” Her largest crowd stateside was 6,000 at The Anthem in Washington, D.C., while two nights at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town drew 4,310 fans, the most among the U.K. dates. Her tour included Oceania shows in June, but it will feature second legs in both North America and Europe this fall.

French rap trio L2B is ninth on the chart after selling 28,400 tickets for two concerts, March 26-27, at Accor Arena in Paris. The shows were part of the group’s headlining tour in support of their album Nés Pour Briller, released in three parts in 2025. This year, they are also appearing at various music festivals, and in 2027 they will be taking their “Tournée des Zéniths” arena tour to venues in France and Belgium during March and April.
