Found Objects Theatre will bring DADS to the Toronto Fringe this summer, playing at VideoCabaret Theatre June 30th to July 10th. Using audience interaction, stand-up comedy, games and storytelling, DADS makes space for the sometimes complicated, sometimes hilarious, and always impactful relationships we have with the men who made us. With each show different from the next, this playful piece wrestles with whether honour and honesty can truly go hand in hand.

Brought to you by award-winning playwright Taylor Trowbridge and award-winning director Dylan Trowbridge, this show also features a new guest comedian at each performance sharing a set about their own father – including Jacob Balshin, Ornab Momin and Courtney Gilmour!

Taylor Trowbridge is an award-winning playwright and actor. Her documentary theatre piece Tool for Rebellion, exploring the Toronto van attack and the root cause of Inceldom, was part of Studio 180 Theatre's IN DEVELOPMENT program for two seasons and won Equity Showcase's Cayle Chernin Award for Theatre in 2022.

Dylan Trowbridge is an award-winning theatre director and actor, known for creating bold, immersive work that explores the human condition and pushes the boundaries of traditional performance. He won the 2025 Toronto Theatre Critics' Award for Best Director for his production of c*ckwith Talk is Free Theatre, which was named one of the “Top Ten Theatre Shows of the Year” by The Globe and Mail. Dylan was also included in Glenn Sumi 's list of the “Top Ten Theatre Artists of 2024”.
