Gene Confirm First North American Tour in 24 Years
Gene will embark on their first North American tour in 24 years, with US and Canada shows scheduled around their November performance at California’s Darker Waves Festival.
Britpop vets Gene ceased operations in 2004 but reunited last year and have kept going. They had already announced they’d be playing California’s Darker Waves Festival in November, and now they’ve announced a short North American tour which will be their first here in 24 years. Stops include San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, DC and NYC. All dates are listed below.
The NYC stop is the final show of the tour, happening at Sony Hall on November 20 . Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, May 15 at 10 AM local time with artists presales starting Wednesday (5/13) at 10 AM local.
