George Strait and Lainey Wilson to Join Alan Jackson for Farewell Concert
Country Music Hall of Famer Alan Jackson

On June 27, Country Music Hall of Famer Alan Jackson celebrates “Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale” presented by Edward Jones and Silverbelly Whiskey with the country icon’s final full-length concert of his career at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
George Strait – the unambiguous “King of Country Music,” with over 100 million RIAA certifications – and Lainey Wilson – the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year – are the latest superstars added to the list of artists who’ll join Jackson to celebrate the end of his touring career at the sold-out concert at the home of the NFL Tennessee Titans. Format visionaries Strait and Jackson have teamed up many times. Their history includes the duets “Designated Drinker” and the CMA Award-winning “Murder on Music Row.” After the passing of George Jones in 2013, the two Country Music Hall of Fame members performed an unforgettable duet of “He Stopped Loving Her Today” at that year’s CMA Awards and they teamed up again for a medley of Jackson’s “Remember When” and Strait’s “Troubadour” in 2016 for the CMA Awards’ 50 th anniversary. Wilson has a long-standing appreciation for Jackson and his music. She was part of the all-star lineup that saluted Jackson when he received the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 CMA Awards, performing “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow” before joining him (and others) on an all-star rendition of “Don’t Rock the Jukebox.” Previously announced participants include Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Jake Owen, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood and Lee Ann Womack, along with Adam Wright, Big City Brian Wright and Carlisle Wright. Jackson’s touring career has him from coast-to-coast and across borders countless times including performances in Australia, Brazil and Europe. Over the last four years, his “Last Call: One More for the Road Tour” played tosellout and capacity concerts. “Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale”is promoted by Doussan Music Group and Peachtree Entertainment. A dollar from each ticket is being donated to the CMT Research Foundation, a 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt organization that funds research to find a cure for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and matched by $2.00 from a generous donor.
In addition to the Country Music Hall of Fame, Jackson is a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Career accolades include being named CMA Entertainer of the Year three times and being a member of the Grand Ole Opry for three decades. He is also a recipient of the Heritage Award, as the most-performed country songwriter/artist of ASCAP’s first 100 years.
A native of Newnan, Georgia, Jackson has sold nearly 60-million albums worldwide and released more than 60 singles – registering 50 Top 10 hits and 35 No. 1s. Jackson is also the man behind one of Nashville’s most-popular tourist stops, AJ’s Good Time Bar. The four-story honky-tonk in the heart of downtown features daily live music and a rooftop view of Music City and is still the only solely owned artist bar on Broadway.
