6LACK Celebrates a Decade of Music with Upcoming "10 Years of 6LACK Tour"

Following last week’s release of 6LACK’s critically acclaimed new album, Love Is The New Gangsta, the multi-platinum, 5x GRAMMY-nominated artist has unveiled the routing for a global run of dates, “10 Years of 6LACK Tour.”

The alternative R&B singer/songwriter and rapper is celebrating a decade of music with a tour that promises to give fans an “intimate live experience spanning the full evolution of his catalog, from FREE 6LACK and East Atlanta Love Letter to Since I Have A Lover and the next era of Love Is The New Gangsta .”

His latest album, which has earned praise from Rolling Stone, FADER, Spin and Associated Press, includes collaborations with Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Leon Thomas, AZ Chike and more.

Today’s announcement notes that Love Is The New Gangsta is “rooted in self-exploration, healing, and radical honesty,” as “the project finds the Atlanta artist peeling back every layer – examining love, identity, growth, and the quiet battles that shape who we become – as person, as a father, and as a man. It’s a record built on transparency and vulnerability, where every lyric feels like a conversation he’s finally ready to have, truthfully.”

The Live Nation-produced tour starts in Europe with a Sept. 8 show in Oslo, Norway at Sentrum Scene. Cities on the routing include Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, Frankfurt and Paris, among others, followed by a U.K. leg that includes gigs in Manchester, Dublin, London and more.

The North American portion of the tour kicks off Oct. 21 at Portland, Oregon’s McMenamins Crystal Ballroom, with stops including Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Atlanta, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn and more. The last stop is Dec. 11 at The Fillmore Minneapolis.

6LACK will be supported in Europe and the UK from Johnny Venus, with Eem Triplin joining the tour in North America.

Artist presales start today (May 27), with additional presales running throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, May 29 at 12pm local time at https://www.6lack.com/tour/ .
