glaive’s previous album Y’ALL— with kurtains at the helm of its production — captures the story of a teenager pulled up from his roots, finally returning to his hometown in North Carolina at twenty, a radically changed person in an unchanged place.

glaive’s previous works include cypress grove, all dogs go to heaven, and then i’ll be happy. His second studio album of last year was May It Never Falter, which was recorded in the remote landscapes of Iceland and Wales.
