James Murphy & Questlove to DJ Phish: Riviera Maya Late-Night Sets

Phish : Riviera Maya has unveiled a fresh round of talent for its 10th anniversary destination event, with LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and The Roots’ Questlove set to perform late-night DJ sets alongside the return of the festival’s comedy series, “Here Come the Jokers.”

The all-inclusive event returns to Moon Palace Cancún in Mexico from January 27th–30th, 2027, where Fred Armisen will headline the comedy lineup alongside Rory Scovel, Beth Stelling, Ali Macofsky, and Phil Hanley.

The announcement comes as Phish prepare for a busy stretch on the road. The band’s 2026 Summer Tour kicks off July 7th in Madison before winding through amphitheaters, arenas, and a multi-night run at Madison Square Garden, while Riviera Maya remains one of the few opportunities each year to catch the quartet in an intimate destination setting.

Murphy, co-founder of DFA Records, and Questlove, an Academy Award-winning musician and filmmaker, will take over the late-night decks following Phish’s nightly performances. Additional late-night acts are expected to be announced at a later date.

The after-hours programming complements four nights of music from Phish, which will remain the centerpiece of the Riviera Maya experience. Earlier this year, the band played eight sets across four nights, mixing live debuts, deep cuts, and extended improvisations throughout the beachfront destination event.

All-inclusive packages for the 10th-anniversary edition are available now through the event’s website . Packages include accommodations at Moon Palace Cancún, admission to all Phish performances, late-night programming, airport transportation, food and drinks, activities, and select off-site excursions.
