Journey Adds 40 North American Dates to 2026 Farewell Tour

Journey have announced a new 40-date Fall 2026 North American leg of their “Final Frontier Tour.” The new run of shows follows the band’s current 60-date run , making for a grand total of 100 total shows in North America this year alone.

The new dates on the band’s farewell outing, which is expected last a couple of years, run from a September 12th gig in Los Angeles through a November 28th show in San Francisco, hitting such cities as Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Dallas, and others along the way.

A Citi pre-sale and an artist pre-sale for the newly announced dates begin Wednesday, May 13th, at 10 a.m. and noon local time, respectively via Ticketmaster , while a public on-sale starts Friday, May 15th, at 10 a.m. local time. Guitarist Neal Schon stated, “The energy has been incredible every night. Seeing these crowds sing these songs with us after all these years has been powerful. We’re excited to bring The Final Frontier Tour to even more cities this fall.”

Keyboardist-guitarist Jonathan Cain added, “These songs continue to connect with people in such a meaningful way. We’re grateful for the fans who’ve support this music across generations.”

And singer Arnel Pineda noted, “The fans have been incredible. Every night feels like a celebration, and we’re excited to share that experience with even more cities.”

Journey’s initial farewell tour announcement came after some confusion about Cain’s status in the band. A tweet from Schon led fans to believe that Cain had left the band, but it was soon clarified that Cain would remain with the group until the conclusion of the farewell tour. Previously, Schon and Cain resolved a long-standing legal dispute over the band’s finances.
