Watch as Joey Fatone , *NSYNC star and former & Juliet cast member is surprised on stage by his boy-bandmate Lance Bass !

Joey Fatone hosted a special sing-along performance of the musical (which features *NSYNC songs and other Max Martin hits). Lance Bass was down the street at the St. James Theatre seeing Titanique, when he realized he could make it for the end of & Juliet, and ran through Times Square from the St. James to the Sondheim Theatre.

& JULIET on Broadway has announced a series of special events, including a $20 lottery, fan nights, and a sing-along performance hosted by *NSYNC's Joey Fatone at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

& Juliet is a jukebox musical that premiered in Manchester in 2019 before opening in London’s West End later that year. Created by writer David West Read, with a score made up of pop hits by Max Martin, it reimagines Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet through a modern, feminist lens. The show later transferred to Broadway in 2022.

Laurie Hernandez made her Broadway debut on Tuesday night, joining the cast of & Juliet. Watch a video of the two-time medal-winning Olympic gymnast performing 'CAN'T STOP THE FEELING!' and 'Roar' during her first performance.
