Masquerade is launching an exclusive experience of the show titled ‘Extended Edition.’ Phans will experience the full performance on Saturday, May 16th immediately followed by a 45-minute multi-pulse behind-the-scenes tour led by Tony Award-winning director and creator Diane Paulus .

During this exclusive experience, guests will see multiple casts in motion and uncover never-before-seen glimpses of the Opera House’s secret inner workings.

Masquerade is based on the original musical The Phantom of the Opera with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber , lyrics by Charles Hart , additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe and book by Richard Stilgoe and Andrew Lloyd Webber . Masquerade is presented by arrangement with LW Entertainment.

The Off-Broadway immersive Phantom of the Opera experience Masquerade will host Nocturne, a specially curated evening set in the gothic world of the Phantom this weekend.

In this video, Walker and Scatliffe discuss their friendship and why supporting one another is essential in an industry that can often be challenging to navigate. They also reflect on some of their favorite past roles including working together in Hamilton on Broadway and on tour and how they have embraced the opportunity to reimagine the legendary character of the Phantom for a new generation of theater audiences.

Due to popular demand, the immersive hit Masquerade will extend for a fifth time through Summer 2026. Masquerade will now play an additional 9 weeks through Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 218 West 57th Street.
