Celebrate one of pop music's most beloved legacies as Micky Dolenz , the legendary voice and drummer of The Monkees, brings his new show, 60 Years of The Monkees, to the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts next week on May 13, 2026, at 7:30 PM in the H-E-B Performance Hall.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online, via phone (210) 223-8624 or in-person at The Tobin Center Box Office (100 Auditorium Circle, 78205). Box Office hours are Monday-Friday 10a-6p and Saturday, 10a-2p. Tickets start at $58.
Micky Dolenz is an actor, singer, director, producer, writer, radio DJ, inventor, and all-around performer extraordinaire, standing as a true icon in the world of entertainment. Best known as a vocalist and drummer of the 1960s pop phenomenon The Monkees, Dolenz helped propel the group to global success both on television and as recording artists, with more than 65 million records sold worldwide.
The Monkees' first four albums — THE MONKEES (1966), MORE OF THE MONKEES (1967), HEADQUARTERS (1967), and PISCES, AQUARIUS, CAPRICORN AND JONES, LTD. (1967) — all reached No. 1 on the charts, launching iconic hits including “Last Train to Clarksville,” “I'm a Believer,” and “Daydream Believer.” The group's first five albums also went platinum, cementing their place in music history.
Beyond The Monkees, Dolenz has released several critically acclaimed solo albums, including KING FOR A DAY, REMEMBER, and A LITTLE BIT BROADWAY; A LITTLE BIT ROCK AND ROLL. He has continued to tour extensively, with his recent Micky Dolenz Celebrates The Monkees tour selling out at every stop.
In recent years, Dolenz has remained as creatively active as ever, releasing DOLENZ SINGS NESMITH in 2019, the EP Dolenz Sings R.E.M., and his first live album in seven years, Micky Dolenz : LIVE AT THE TROUBADOUR. He is also the author of I'm Told I Had A Good Time: The Micky Dolenz Archives, Volume 1.
