Mindy Kaling’s "Not Suitable For Work": Every Song On The Soundtrack

Not Suitable For Work  is Mindy Kaling’s new comedy series, but what songs appear in the show? Find out below.

The nine-episode show has been created by Kaling, the comedy writer and actor known for  The Office   and  The Mindy Project . It follows five ambitious twenty-somethings in Manhattan as they try to make it in their careers while navigating their messy personal lives.

It follows on from Kaling’s other workplace/coming-of-age comedies including  The Sex Lives Of College Girls and  Never Have I Ever , and it stars Ella Hunt, Avantika Vandanapu, Will Angus, Jack Martin, Nicholas Duvernay and Jay Ellis.

The first three episodes premiered on June 2, with further instalments arriving weekly until the season finale on June 23. It is airing on Hulu in the US, while UK viewers can watch it on  Disney+ .

The show has received mixed reviews so far from critics, with the aggregator site  Rotten Tomatoes   currently giving it a 47 per cent critics’ rating.

Never Have I Ever , however,  scored a four-star review from  NME  in 2020 , which noted: “Showrunners Kaling and Fisher make use of many genre tropes throughout this tongue-in-cheek exploration of trauma, but thanks to its screwball script and kooky characters, the result is a sharp, thoughtful comedy you’ll probably watch in one sitting.”
