MJ Lenderman Exits Zach Bryan Tour
Citing a need to "rest, recalibrate and work on new songs" after years of touring, MJ Lenderman has announced his departure from Zach Bryan's upcoming tour.

MJ Lenderman was scheduled to open some shows on Zach Bryan ‘s stadium tour this summer, but he’s dropped off the bill. “MJ Lenderman and the Wind are no longer able to join Zach Bryan on tour next month,” his statement reads. “After years on the road, I need time to rest, recalibrate and work on new songs. Thank you to Zach for the invitation – we’ll see you all another time. -Jake”
Ryan Bingham and the Texas Gentlemen will join Zach on those dates, which include San Diego, Salt Lake City, Denver, and Glendale, in his place.
Lenderman has been extremely active on the road over the past few years; in addition to his numerous shows with his band The Wind, he did a recent solo tour with Waxahatchee and played in her and Allison Crutchfield’s band Snocaps towards the end of 2025. He revealed in February of last year that he wouldn’t tour in Wednesday anymore , but until that point he was often out with them. Get some rest, Jake!
Lenderman’s only upcoming show at the moment is Sylvan Esso ‘s Durham, NC festival Good Moon .
This news comes as Weezer announce their new album with a single featuring Wednesday’s Karly Hartzman , his former partner.
