Marking the band’s first album in five years, the new set features production from bandleader Isaac Brock, as well as Jackknife Lee (U2, The Killers), Suzy Shinn (Weezer), and Justin Raisen (Charli xcx, Kim Gordon, Lil Yachty). Brock and company had been working on the new set of songs since the release of 2021’s The Golden Casket , with the frontman even considering using the material for his side project Ugly Casanova. Ultimately, though, the tracks became Modest Mouse’s An Eraser and a Maze — which, like we said, is out today.
The album was previewed by singles “Picking Dragon’s Pocket,” “Third Side of the Moon,” and “Look How Far. . .” The band also are in the midst of a pretty robust spring and summer tour . Check out all of the dates and pick up tickets here .
