Morris Day Withdraws from Trump's Great American State Fair
Morris Day has announced his withdrawal from Donald Trump's Great American State Fair. The artist, known for his work with The Time, stated, "It's a no for me."
Even the artists booked to play Trump’s The Great American State Fair want nothing to do with it: just hours after Morris Day & The Time were announced to play the Freedom 250 event on the National Mall, Day took took to Instagram to say dispute the news.
“Contrary to rumor, Morris Day & The Time will not be performing at The ‘Great American State Farm,’ reads an image posted to IG. “It’s A No For Me,” adds an accompanying caption.
For now, luminaries such as Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli, Bret Michaels, and Flo Rida are still attached to play bash.
