New Prince Album "Timeless" Features Unreleased Tracks From Throughout His Career

The Prince archives may never stop giving. The latest record to be unearthed is Timeless , a compilation of previously unreleased songs from throughout his career (1977 – 2016). It’s out August 26 and you can preorder the vinyl in the BV Shop.

You can listen to “Stone,” which dates from 1995 but sounds like it could’ve come from the mid-’80s. It’s pretty terrific — check it out below.

Meanwhile, it’s currently Prince Celebration Week in Minneapolis. Festivities include the Prince Celebration of Life 10th Anniversary Concert on Friday, June 5 featuring members of The Revolution and New Power Generation united on stage, plus performnces by Morris Day, Tevin Campbell, Miguel, Bilal, Kat Graham, Sounds of Blackness and more.
