Post Malone Postpones May Stadium Tour Dates to Complete New Music
Post Malone has canceled the May leg of his "Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2" with Jelly Roll. The postponement allows him to finalize new music, impacting dates that were set to begin May 13 in El Paso, Texas.

May dates for Post Malone’s “Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2” have been canceled with the singer saying he needs more time to finish new music.
The tour, which also features Jelly Roll, was to kick off May 13 at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas, but Friday, Malone — coming off a headline spot at Stagecoach — announced via social media that a full third of the planned stadium shows were canceled.
“Looking at the upcoming schedule after Stagecoach, I came to the realization that what we’re trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up,” he wrote. “The truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.”
In addition to El Paso, shows in Waco, Texas; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Birmingham, Alabama; Tampa, Florida; and Oxford, Mississippi, have been scratched. The tour will now begin June 9 in Charlotte.
Posty, whose last album was in 2024, is planning a double album with up to 40 tracks.
There have been widespread reports that sales have been slow, particularly for those early dates. Last year, the performance of “Big Ass Stadium Tour” was strong enough to place Posty in the Top 10 on Pollstar ‘s year-end rankings.
