Brazilian Promoter 30e Appoints Ex-Live Nation Exec Eric Kert as Chief Strategy Officer

30e, Brazil’s biggest and most influential concert promoter, announced the hiring of former Live Nation executive Eric Kert, who will serve as chief strategy officer of the South American company.

Kert was Live Nation’s chief operating officer for its South American operations, and he will now guide 30e’s next phase of long-term growth. He will be based in Los Angeles and report directly to founder and CEO Pepeu Correa.

“Eric is a world-class executive whose deep expertise in global touring and strategic operations is exactly what 30e needs for this next chapter. Having him based in Los Angeles is a strategic move to shorten the distance between Brazil and the heart of the global entertainment industry,” Correa said in a statement. “We are building a high-performance ecosystem that redefines the standard for live music in South America, and Eric’s leadership will be pivotal in scaling our vision to a global level.”

‘Come To Brazil’: Promoters Thriving In Robust Brazilian Markets

While at Live Nation, Kert negotiated and managed transactions and touring deals with major stars, including some of the promoter’s landmark 360 deals. He started his career in the entertainment industry in Canada at the BCL/TNA group of concert companies before joining Live Nation, where he helped the major promoter expand and be at the forefront of the global touring business.

“Pepeu is a visionary leader which has led 30e to its early success and allowed him to assemble an exceptional team of executives and industry professionals,” Kert said. “I’m thrilled to become a part of that and play a role in the next stage of 30e’s growth. 30e is a young company but started out on a mission. To many in the industry, it was mission impossible; but it turned out to be possible. 30e is a Brazilian company, but there’s no reason we can’t have global aspirations.”

Brazilian Promoter 30e Inks Global Deal With System Of A Down

The hiring of Kert comes on the heels of 30e’s major partnership with Maracanã, which gives the entertainment company exclusive booking rights to Rio de Janeiro’s iconic soccer stadium and bolsters its venue portfolio. The Brazilian powerhouse also manages non-sporting events for Allianz Parque in São Paulo, one of the busiest venues in the region, and Arena da Baixada in Curitiba.

It’s yet another major move for 30e, solidifying its position as a force in not only South America but the world. The promoter reported nearly 1.8 million tickets sold in 2025 and was the top-ranked Brazilian company at No. 22 on Pollstar ’s top promoters tickets chart last year, grossing $112.25 million. The company took a major step forward when it produced System of a Down’s stadium tour in South America, taking over just about every facet of the tour and showing the industry what is possible. The nine-date trek grossed a gargantuan $51.95 million and moved nearly half a million tickets.

The independent Latin American promoter also struck a global partnership with System Of A Down in January. With the deal, the Brazilian entertainment company will work with the metal band for its live projects, including touring, marketing and special initiatives.
