Red & Chloe Question Their Actions in New ‘Descendants: Wicked Wonderland’ Teaser

Red and Chloe are back together again in Descendants: Wicked Wonderland , but in a new teaser trailer for the Disney Channel movie, it looks like their time-traveling antics from the last film might have changed everything forever.

On Monday (June 8), a brand-new preview arrived for Wicked Wonderland , the fifth entry in the musical film franchise, arriving July 16 on Disney Channel and the next day on Disney+. Kylie Cantrall is back as Red, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts ( Rita Ora ), and Malia Baker returns as Chloe, daughter of Cinderella ( Brandy ). In 2024’s Descendants: The Rise of Red , the unlikely friends traveled back in time to alter the courses of their magical moms’ lives.

Brandy Returning as Cinderella for Disney’s ‘Descendants: Wicked Wonderland’

But as Maddox Hatter (Leonardo Nam) says in the teaser trailer: “When you alter the fabric of time, there can be some unpredictable consequences.” Some of those consequences? Red is now an HK, or “Hero Kid,” since the newly nice Queen of Hearts is no longer a villain. Oh, and Red has a sister now too, colorfully named Pink (Liamani Segura). In the big musical number teased in the preview, the besties look around and ask themselves: “What Have We Done?”

Kimmy Gatewood directed  Wicked Wonderland  — her first time helming a  Descendants  film — with a script from Tamara Chestna and  The Rise of Red  writers Dan Frey and Ru Sommer.

The Descendants: Wicked Wonderland soundtrack will arrive July 17 on Walt Disney Records. All four  Descendants  albums reached No. 1 on both  Billboard ‘s  Soundtracks  chart and the  Kid Albums chart, and reached the all-genre  Billboard 200 . The first three titles all reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200, with the first release debuting at No. 1. The four projects have collectively earned 3.9 million equivalent album units in the United States, through May 1, according to Luminate.

In the fall, four Descendants actors — Liamani Segura (Pink), Kiara Romero (Hazel Hook), Alexandro Byrd (Luis Madrigal) and Dara Reneé (Uliana) — will hit the road alongside fellow Disney Channel stars from ZOMBIES and Camp Rock 3 for the Worlds Collide Tour , hitting 48 arenas across North America from September through December.
