Squeeze to Embark on 29-Date North American Tour in 2026

Squeeze have announced the 29-date North American “Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour” with support from from fellow English New Wave exemplar Adam Ant .

The band behind “Tempted” and “Pulling Mussels” will hit Boston, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas among other cities. On August 16th, the tour hits the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee and ends September 27th at Detroit’s Masonic Temple. The English Beat will also be on the bill of the Los Angeles concert.

Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster for an artist pre-sale Wednesday, May 6th at 10:00 a.m. local time and a general on-sale Friday, May 8th at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Also coming along for most of the tour will be UK pop band Haircut 100, known for their 1980s hit “Love Plus One,” and, on select dates, Leon Tilbrook, son of Squeeze’s Glenn Tilbrook.

Squeeze are touring in support of their latest album, Trixies , released in March. Trixies was conceived by the duo behind Squeeze, Chris Difford and Tilbrook, when they were just teenagers. Inspired by the rock operas and concept albums, the songs are a collection of stories set in a fictional nightclub. The project was beyond the burgeoning songwriters’ capabilities at the time and eluded them until recent years.

Gilson Lavis , Squeeze’s drummer from the late 1970s to the early 1990s who played on their hits, died in November.
