Swervedriver Marks 35th Anniversary with “Raise” Tour

Shoegaze greats Swervedriver will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of their debut album, raise , by playing it on tour this year. BrooklynVegan is excited to be presenting the whole thing!

In addition to the album front-to-back, Swervedriver will also be playing “a load of extra nuggets from the back catalogue.” East Coast dates happen in August, while West Coast shows are in December. All dates and ticket links are below.

You can get tickets for every date of the tour with the BrooklynVegan presale which runs Wednesday, May 13 at 10 AM local time through Thursday, May 14 at 10 PM local with password BVraise35 . Any remaining tickets go on sale Friday, May 15 at 10 AM local.

The tour includes NYC-area stops at Jersey City’s White Eagle Hall on August 28 and Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on August 29 .
