The Rolling Stones Announce "Foreign Tongues" Album Featuring All-Star Collaborations
The Rolling Stones will release "Foreign Tongues," a 14-track LP with guest appearances by Paul McCartney, Robert Smith, Chad Smith, and Steven Winwood.

The Rolling Stones have officially announced their new album, Foreign Tongues , due out on July 10th via Capitol Records.
Spanning a total of 14 songs, the album was recorded by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood in less than a month at Metropolis Studios in West London. With Andrew Watt serving as producer, the LP also boasts some A-list guest spots from the likes of Paul McCartney, The Cure’s Robert Smith, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Steven Winwood. Additionally, late drummer Charlie Watt appears posthumously on the album thanks to a recording session captured before his passing in 2021.
As a preview, The Rolling Stones have released the album’s lead single, “In the Stars,” alongside the opening track, “Rough and Twisted.” Listen to both songs below.
Foreign Tongues serves as the follow-up to The Stones’ 2023 album Hackney Diamonds . In the lead-up to today’s announcement, the band teased their latest collection of music by releasing “Rough and Twisted” as a limited-edition vinyl release under the name of The Cockroaches.
