The Smashing Pumpkins Announce the Rats in a Cage Tour

The Smashing Pumpkins have detailed an extensive run of concerts they’re calling The Rats in a Cage Tour. Each show on this fall leg will feature “two unique sets” celebrating Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness ’ recent 30th anniversary, as well as other “unruly hits and dark treasures.” Find their complete list of tour dates below.

In 2024, the Smashing Pumpkins released Aghori Mhori Mei , their first album since the departure of their longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder. Instead of calling on a friend or session musician to fill Schroeder’s shoes, they held an open call for applications — eventually resulting in guitarist Kiki Wong joining the band.
