The 52nd American Music Awards (AMAs) will air live on CBS on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT. The AMAs will be available to stream live on Paramount+ only for Paramount+ Premium subscribers, via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not be able to stream the show live, but can view the special on demand the following day.
This year’s awards ceremony will be hosted by GRAMMY Award-winning musician, critically acclaimed Emmy and Golden Globe-winning and Academy Award-nominated actress and producer Queen Latifah. The performer has a longstanding history with the AMAs, previously serving as a co-host in 1995 and delivering performances in the years since.
Announced performers include Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Billy Idol; International Artist Award of Excellence recipient KAROL G; Veterans Voice Award Presented by USAA’s Honor Through Action recipient Darius Rucker who will perform alongside his Hootie & the Blowfish bandmates; as well as as performances from KATSEYE, Keith Urban, Maluma, New Kids on the Block, The Pussycat Dolls + Busta Rhymes, Riley Green, SOMBR, Teddy Swims, Teyana Taylor, and Twenty One Pilots. Also, a special live appearance by BTS.
Alysa Liu, Anthony Ramos, EJAE, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Hannah Berner, Hilary Duff, Jason Derulo, John Legend, Lisa Rinna, Ludacris, Mariah the Scientist, Matt Rife, Megan Stalter and Paul W. Downs, Melanie Martinez, Nikki Glaser, Paula Abdul, REI AMI, Russell Dickerson and more will present at the ceremony.
The soundtracks for Wicked: For Good, season two of Hazbin Hotel, and KPop Demon Hunters are among the nominees at the 52nd American Music Awards. The Singing Voices of HUNTR/X from KPop Demon Hunters, EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, were nominated in three categories: Song of the Year, Best Vocal Performance, and Best Pop Song, for the hit song “Golden” from the KPop Demon Hunters. This would mark their first American Music Award(s) if they take any of the three categories.
Highlights include Taylor Swift , the winningest artist in AMAs history, who has been nominated in eight categories, including Artist of the Year, Best Pop Album, and Album of the Year for The Life of a Showgirl.
Breakout stars Olivia Dean and SOMBR are first-time nominees, with seven nods each. Other first-time nominees include Alex Warren, BigXthaPlug, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas , PinkPantheress, RAYE, Role Model, SIENNA SPIRO, Tate McRae , and more. A full list of nominees can be found here .
