Ziggy Marley and Gov't Mule to Co-Headline "Dreaming The Same Dream" Fall Tour
Nine-time Grammy winner Ziggy Marley and Grammy-nominated Gov't Mule, led by Warren Haynes, announce their 16-date "Dreaming The Same Dream Tour" this fall, featuring a guest DJ.

Nine-time, Grammy-winning reggae icon Ziggy Marley and Grammy-nominated band Gov’t Mule, led by Grammy-winning guitar legend, vocalist, songwriter and producer Warren Haynes, announced the “Dreaming The Same Dream Tour.”
The 16-date, co-headlining fall outing features a guest DJ set from YOLA and reunites Marley and Haynes who collaborated to co-write the tour namesake song, “Dreaming the Same Dream.”
The “Dreaming The Same Dream Tour” launches Sept. 23 in New York City at The Rooftop at Pier 17, traverses Florida with six stops (Key West, Hollywood, St. Augustine, Clearwater, Ft. Myers and Tallahassee) then hits Atlanta and other markets, before reaching Texas for four nights across the Lone Star State concluding in Dallas on Oct. 17.
Artist fan club presale tickets will be available starting June 3 at noon ET with local presales beginning June 4 at 10:00 AM local time. The general on-sale will commence June 5 at 10:00 AM local time.
A portion of each ticket sold for the tour ($2) will be donated to Food For The Poor Jamaica to provide relief and humanitarian efforts in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, the most destructive storm in Jamaica’s history. Food for the Poor supports ongoing shelter needs, food, clean water access and medical care – as well the long-term rebuilding of communities in Jamaica.
“It’s gonna be a great jam session being on tour with Warren and the crew,” stated Marley in the announcement. “I’m looking forward to the vibes.” “I’m really looking forward to the tour with Ziggy Marley,” added Haynes. “We’ve known each other a long time and have shared the stage a few times but never done a tour together. There’s definitely an overlap between the two audiences, but I think a lot of Mule fans will be hearing Ziggy for the first time and a lot of Ziggy fans will be hearing Mule for the first time, which is great.”
“I was honored when Gov’t Mule and Ziggy Marley asked me to come on tour as their DJ/MC with the mostest,” offered YOLA. “A lot of people don’t know this but the only reason I’m in America today and was able to get signed here was because of dance music. My hometown of Bristol in the UK has a legacy of DJs specifically coming from our city. I cut my teeth there in the jazz, rock then dance scenes and met DJs and dance acts that I’d eventually tour and collaborate with. Getting to represent this part of my life in DJ form on tour with Mule and Ziggy is a full circle moment that I don’t think I’d have gotten if I didn’t tell my story and insist on being a fluid of genre and artistically whole woman.”
Marley released his ninth album, Brightside , in May. It’s his first studio album in eight years and includes standout tracks “Racism Is A Killa,” featuring Big Boi of Outkast and “Many Mourn For Bob,” a tribute to the legacy of his father Bob Marley. The eight songs were co-produced by Ziggy Marley and his brother Stephen Marley and recorded at Rebel Lion Studio in Los Angeles with an impressive list of collaborators including Nikka Costa, Trombone Shorty, Sheila E. and Jake Shimaburkuro.
Marley kicks off his “Brightside Tour” across North America on June 19 at Fox Tucson Theatre in Tucson, Arizona. The 20-date tour will make stops in major markets before concluding on July 22 in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Upcoming shows include a night at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles June 21 as well as a performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre as part of Stephen Marley’s Kaya Fest.
Gov’t Mule will be on the road this summer from July 22 through Aug. 23 on their “Kicking In Your Stall Tour” and co-headlining trek with longtime friend and blues-rock titan Joe Bonamassa.
Gov’t Mule released their 12th studio album, Peace…Like A River (Fantasy Records), in 2023. Since releasing the acclaimed rock collection, Haynes issued his fourth solo album and first solo release in nearly a decade, Million Voices Whisper , in 2024 and its stripped-down companion album, The Whisper Sessions , in 2025 (both via Fantasy Records).
Earlier this year, Warren also released an expanded, re-mixed and re-mastered version of his 1993 debut solo studio album, Tales of Ordinary Madness (via Megaforce Records). Next up, Haynes will be releasing his long-awaited Dreams & Songs symphonic album recorded live in Asheville in 2019.
