Avett Brothers, Mike Patton Team Up as AVTT/PTTN, Make TV Debut
Bluegrass/Americana stars The Avett Brothers and rocker Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle) formed the trio AVTT/PTTN, releasing an album last year and recently making their television debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Last year, bluegrass/Americana stars the Avett Brothers got together with an unlikely collaborator, Mike Patton from Faith No More and Mr. Bungle, to make an entire album called AVTT/PTTN . The trio, also operating under the name AVTT/PTTN, made their TV debut on Fallon . Last month, AVTT/PTTN launched a tour , where they're playing Avett Brothers, Faith No More, and Mr. Bungle songs as well as the ones from the LP. On Wednesday night, AVVT/PTTN were back on TV, performing on KMML .
