BTS Busan Concert Headed to Movie Theaters This June

The massively popular K-pop group—comprising RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook—will perform at Busan Asiad Main Stadium, marking BTS’s first performance there since 2022, and the live event will be broadcast in movie theaters across the globe. Trafalgar Releasing, HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC teamed up to bring the experience of the special show to cinemas, and tickets go on sale May 28 at 6 a.m. PDT., and Korean sales begin at 10 a.m. KST. BTS’s “ARIRANG World Tour” is one of the biggest treks of the year, spanning 34 cities with 85 concerts, and the upcoming Busan broadcast marks the third live cinema event of the global tour.

The production of the show features a group’s signature 360-degree-in-the-round stage design to deliver an immersive experience, and the movie gives fans the opportunity to see the spectacle of a BTS concert.
The “ARIRANG World Tour” has been a hit at the box office so far, grossing $139,675,776 off 661,216 tickets sold across 13 shows, according to Pollstar Boxoffice. The septet sold out three nights at Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros earlier this month, grossing a whopping $43,477,766 and moving 145,763 tickets.
