Deep Purple to Unleash "Heaviest" Album in Years, "SPLAT!", This July
Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Deep Purple will drop their 24th studio LP, "SPLAT!", on July 3rd, promising their heaviest release in many years.

Deep Purple have announced a new album titled SPLAT! , calling it their “heaviest” LP in many years. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band’s 24th album will arrive July 3rd via earMUSIC.
Singer Ian Gillan compared the songs on the new album to their classic tracks, stating, “I have to say, now we are very much back in with material that is compatible with ‘Highway Star,’ ‘Smoke on the Water,’ ‘Lazy’ — the dynamics, the balance, and the fun of the music we made from ‘69 to ‘73.”
