You want it all, and you can have it? Faith No More appear to be teasing a 2027 return in a new social media post.

The image simply shows “2027” over the band’s eight-pointed-star logo, plastered over an image of a crowd at a rock concert. A reunion would come as a surprise considering recent comments from band members suggesting that Faith No More were over and done with.

Last year, drummer Mike Bordin said that singer Mike Patton was “unwilling to do shows” with Faith No More, with keyboardist-guitarist Roddy Bottum adding a few months later, “I don’t think the course that we were on has fixed itself. I just don’t see it happening again, honestly.”

Patton himself seemed to confirm the band’s apparent breakup earlier this year, telling the Consequence Podcast Network’s Kyle Meredith With… , “I don’t see it as a sad thing.”

Faith No More were scheduled to play shows in 2020 and 2021, but all the dates were canceled, first due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and later because of Patton’s mental health struggles.

As it stands, any potential 2027 shows would be Faith No More’s first in more than a decade. The band’s most recent concert took place August 20th, 2016, at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California.
