Frankie Rose’s new album ‘Hila’ arrives September 18, hear “Can’t Be Wrong” now

Frankie Rose is back with Hila , her sixth solo album and first in three years, which will be out September 18 via Born Losers / Night School. She recorded it following her 2024 tour with The Jesus and Mary Chain and it features contributions from drummer Justin Welch (Elastica/JAMC), saxophonist Jeff Tobias and more.

Frankie says, “Hila. A record about loss. What persists beyond the range of ordinary perception? The place mourning keeps returning to — not quite transcendence, not quite doubt. The edge of what we can see.”

The first single is the very dreamy “Can’t Be Wrong” which floats along on a pillow of synthesizers and Frankie’s signature harmonies. You can watch the video below.
