Mexican promoter OCESA is going rock heavy for their flagship festival this year, with Gorillaz, The Strokes and Twenty One Pilots headlining the 16 th edition of Corona Capital, which takes place Nov. 20-22 at Mexico City’s Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

Corona Capital, one of the premier music festivals in Mexico, will have a stacked bill featuring more than five dozen acts across multiple stages. Gorillaz will close out Friday night following performances by Mumford & Sons, Daniel Caesar, James Blake, The Kooks, Absolutely, Anna Luna, Chezile, Chvches, CMAT and many more.

Day 2 of the festival will feature alternative rockers The Offspring and Pierce The Veil , both featured on the cover of Pollstar last year, as well as Underworld, Mother Mother, Baby Queen, Balu Brigada, Børns, Dope Lemon, The Hellp, Jordana, Maisie Peters, Militarie Gun, New Constellations, Peaches and more. Twenty One Pilots will be the final act to take the stage Saturday Night.

The Strokes are headlining the final day of the festival, and other acts performing that Sunday include The xx, Lola Young, Lil Yachty, BUNT., Angine de Poitrine, Bad Suns, The Black Crowes, Céline Dessberg, Ela Minus, Freak Slug, Good Kid, Johnny Marr, Loyle Carner, Manic Street Preachers and more.

Last year’s festival also boasted a star-studded lineup featuring Foo Fighters, Chappell Roan, Linkin Park, Deftones, Weezer, Vampire Weekend, Queens of the Stone Age and many more. That edition sold nearly 174,000 passes across three days and grossed $16.7 million, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
