Jim James, Dumpstaphunk, Sierra Hull to Headline Park City Song Summit

Promising a “feast of the senses,” the Song Summit returns to Park City, Utah, Aug. 27-29 with a music lineup topped by Jim James (acoustic set), Dumpstaphunk, Sierra Hull, a “Mountain Jam” Song Summit Collective featuring Eric Krasno, Patrick Hallahan (My Morning Jacket), Nicki Bluhm, Ivan Neville, Tony Hall, Ross James, Alex Koford, a tribute to the Dead’s Bobby Weir and more.

This year’s Song City lineup “explores the interconnectedness of two industries that feed the spirit and soul: music and culinary arts,” with multiple locations and sites offering “Song Summit Labs,” a “Song Summit Village” and “Summit Suppers Club” including culinary offerings from Andrew Zimmern, Stephanie Izard, Damaris Phillips, Gregory Gourdet, and Sean Brock.

Festival attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage with this year’s lineup in a variety of ways, including with musician-led morning meditation and wellness, in conversation at daytime Labs, meals with story-driven menus, and through the gift of live music.

“Song Summit is a living, breathing, evolving gathering of like-minded folks who hold music close to their hearts,” says Ben Anderson, Song Summit founder. “The feedback from last year’s event, which spotlighted a few of our favorite chefs and their creative processes alongside some of the most innovative musical talents of our time, was overwhelmingly positive, so we’re leaning even more in that direction in 2026. Festival attendees can participate in discussions that dissect, illuminate, and interrogate the art of being a human while being an inclusive space to talk about mental health, representation, social equity, recovery, and more of the everyday, inner workings of musicians, songwriters, chefs, and public personalities we all know and love.

Song Summit was developed as “a different way to experience a music festival, thoughtfully integrating culinary arts, wellness, and connection … born from a passion for music and a belief that gathering around shared experiences can be transformative. What began as an intimate, mountain-set hangout has evolved into something more than music.”
