Justin Bieber ’s music received a massive streaming spike following his headlining Coachella 2026 performances. This surge peaked at roughly 431 million global Spotify streams during the week ending April 23rd, representing an increase of about 1,790% over his weekly average before the festival.

Based on calculations from a graphic shared by Bloomberg’s Lucas Shaw and weekly data from kworb.net , the pop star totaled 27.2 million global Spotify streams for the week ending April 2nd, according to the Top 200 songs chart. During the following week leading up to Coachella, he tallied 18.4 million streams. This averages to 22.8 million global Spotify streams for those two weeks.

Bieber’s viral April 11th performance led to an initial surge of 281 million global Spotify streams for the week ending April 16th. After a second weekend performance featuring Billie Eilish, SZA, Dijon, Big Sean, and Sexyy Red, his songs saw an even larger spike, tallying 431 million global Spotify streams for the week ending April 23rd.

Comparing the 431 million streams to the average of 22.8 million streams during the weeks before Coachella yields the 1,790% increase.

With a mix of songs led by Bieber’s 2012 Nicki Minaj collab “Beauty and a Beat” and last year’s “DAISIES” alongside his early hit “Baby,” the renewed interest spans his entire catalog.

While the surge has started to come back down to earth, Bieber still garnered about 295 million streams for the week ending April 30th.

Coming off 2025’s SWAG and SWAG II , Bieber would be well-served by the release of new material to maintain this momentum.
