Kiefer Reveals 11-Date North American Fall Tour

Kiefer has revealed a North American tour kicking off this fall on Oct. 1 at Boston’s Center for Arts at the Armory, following his appearance at the brand-new Over the Breaks festival on Sept. 18 & 19 in Los Angeles. Kiefer’s fall tour will run for 11 dates before ending in Portland, OR, at the Star Theater.

The Grammy-winning hip-hop/jazz pianist/producer took to Instagram to share the news, saying: “Three years since the last US run, with so much more news on the way (more music?). Plz share with ur friends.” The producer then disclosed that the musician Shibo would also be opening for him on the tour.

Kiefer’s tour announcement arrives on the heels of the award-winning talent inking a deal with Blue Note Records, led by label head Don Was, per Pollstar reports . Regarding the signing, Kiefer detailed how meaningful the opportunity was to him, saying, “As someone who loves jazz, to be on the Blue Note roster is a huge honor. As someone who was raised on the Blue Note catalog, it is deeply sentimental and life-affirming.”

Kiefer is managed by veteran Keith Hagan’s Skylark Artist Management, whose roster includes the Afghan Whigs, Cymande, and the Four Tops and more.
