Madball Announce New Album ‘Not Your Kingdom,’ First Since 2018, With New Single and Vinyl
Vocalist Freddy Cricien calls Madball's upcoming album, ‘Not Your Kingdom,’ "by far the most diverse" in their discography. The new LP is their first since 2018 and includes a new single and exclusive vinyl.

NYHC vets Madball have announced their tenth album, Not Your Kingdom , due out July 24 via Nuclear Blast. It’s their first LP since 2018’s For the Cause , and it was produced and engineered by Andrew Baylis, Aiden Thompson and Grady Saxman, with final mixing and mastering by Lee Rouse. In a Hardlore interview released earlier this month, vocalist Freddy Cricien said it’s “by far the most diverse Madball album,” adding that it’s “very eclectic in the best way.” See the cover art and tracklist below.
We have an exclusive “oxblood and sky blue split” vinyl variant of Not Your Kingdom , limited to 200 copies and available for pre-order in the BV shop .
The first single is “Rebel Kids.” Cricien says it was “the first track written for this album and actually was completely put together probably two years ago … or so. The sentiment, vibe, and message of the song really became the catalyst for what came after. We all loved the song immediately, but I couldn’t have known it would be the first single. We have several songs that we feel could be first ‘out of the gate.’ But in the end, ‘Rebel Kids’ made the most sense musically, lyrically etc.” Watch the video, directed by Dave Causa and Cricien, below.
Madball play the 2026 edition of BNB Bowl later this month, on Friday, May 22 at Brooklyn Monarch , and they also have shows in Mexico and Europe coming up, as well as North American festival sets. See all dates below.
