Massive Attack, Violet Grohl, Gary Clark Jr, more announce tour dates

VIOLET GROHL

Violet Grohl just released her debut album and has now announced a West Coast fall tour that stars October 22 in Vancouver and then heads to Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, and Santa Ana. She’ll also play Phoenix, Albuquerque and Denver in November.

PHOEBE BRIDGERS

Phoebe Bridgers has been playing new music at a series of  intimate pop-up shows around the US all throughout May, and she’s finally coming to NYC this week . On the downside, it’s at Madison Square Garden; on the plus side, tickets are $1.

JULIA JACKLIN

Julia Jacklin has signed to 4AD and while she hasn’t shared any new music, she has announced a tour running through this and year into next.

JOE RUSSO’S ALMOST DEAD

Premiere Grateful Dead tribute act Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has announced a few fall shows, including two nights at NYC’s Rooftop At Pier 17 on September 25 & 26 .

MASSIVE ATTACK

Massive Attack will be heading to Australia for the first time in 16 years, playing Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in August.

KELELA

Kelela‘s third album,  New Avatar , is out next month via Warp, and she’s announced a fall tour  with shows in North America in September and October, followed by Europe in October and November.

PANOPTICON/CATHARSIS

Panopticon and Catharsis are joining forces for an East Coast tour in October, hitting Portland, Boston, Brooklyn ( Market Hotel on 10/9 ), Philly, and Baltimore.

GARY CLARK JR.

Gary Clark Jr is on his spring tour right now and has just added a very intimate NYC show this week, playing Mercury Lounge on Tuesday, June 2 . The next night he’ll be at Long Island’s Paramount . He’ll also be back this fall to play Beacon Theatre on September 12 .

THIS IS LORELEI

This is Lorelei have added a second NYC show to their fall tour at Warsaw on November 12 .
